I’ve been watching a ton of movies lately. The last week I’ve seen like, 11, in addition to a ton of shorts. It’s been good, but I think I ought to go back to max 1 a day.

We’re writing short stories in class this month. We are to deliever one, but I’m working on two and I’m having a hard time chosing. They’re both in Norwegian so I ain’t gonna post no text bro but I can talk about them.
Oland: This is the one I have worked least with, since I’m not sure what I want to do with it. It’s mostly a story meant to be beautiful, kinda. It’s a girl that lives in a bus in a field between some mountains, and the bus is like a old white schoolbus-thing, and every day she is visited by a guy who comes with food,a nd the guy is beautiful and the two loves eachother, and he brings juice and crabs and the lay on the roof of the bus and talk and she tells him a story etc. etc. it’s really just a beautiful story. I wanted it to be in the mind of an old woman who gets one visist every day by a male nurse, and imagines it in her head as the most perfect thing, but I realised that it could just be a nice story without any hidden strings.

The other one is (on the surface) a story where a boy walks into his house and talks to his mom about how he ate snow, and now his stomach aches. Though it’s really about a grown man visiting his mothers grave, and admitting to her that he has been unfaithful to his wife, and that she wants a divorce. It’s pretty challenging to write. My first draft (that I talked to the teacher about) was way to vague, and she didn’t get it at all. I don’t know how much information I should give away.
Everything I write I imagine as movies, though, and I’d love to write both of these as short screenplays, however both of them involve children as actors, and that can’t be done by the filmclass in school here.

The movie "Slumdog Millionaire" is one of the best I’ve seen. Lately at least. It’s fantastic, you should all watch it! Try to avoid the trailers though, since they spoil what was to me a magic moment.

Plan for today:
– Eat dinner
– Start working on a 30 minute Wizard of Oz-play made for children
– Discuss the Oz thing with two other writers
– Prolly buy some snacks
– Eat again
– Watch a movie from 2008 and eat some of the aformentioned snacks
So that’s the plan. I might write a bit too.

Me and my brother are going to a Don Quixote ballet in the end of march. On the premiere. At the new opera house in Oslo (not that new anymore, though). Looking forward to it!

The American guy at school here has given me gigabytes upon gigabytes of music, and there’s some sweet stuff there. Mostly indie and classic rock. Also some neat hip-hop.

I just saw the only Norwegian feature film (documentary) to win an Oscar, Kon-Tiki. It was pretty interesting and funny at times.

The "Ugh~" wasn’t because I don’t like projects, but because I’m so bad at doing anything with them. A selection of the ones I’m working on now:
– Writing a short story for class
– Writing an article about the SW holiday special
– Some thingy with Asia
– Learning how to draw
– Working out
– Make a website
– Get rich or die tryin’
Some of my fingers hurt, and also various parts of my body. I have a theory it’s from when I practiced on playing the Oz scarecrow, and basically just fell over alot.

Refleksjon: Jess, litt spesielt at eg var (er?) så glad i å lage historier som eignetleg er noko heilt anna enn det dei ser ut som. Trur eg har misforstått “lese mellom linjene” eller kanskje tatt det for bokstaveleg. Og er var ikkje sjuk veldig mye på fhs, men når eg er sjuk har eg meir dødtid å bruke til å t.d. oppdatere vevkompiser.
