2008/2009 var eg eit år på folkehøgskule i Buskerud. Samstundes holdt eg nokon vevkamerater oppdatert om livet mitt. Eg har luka ut det meste som ikkje er relevant.

Back from Rome, it was great! Gonna wash some clothes and stuff, and then we’re hitting the road again tomorrow. We’re not leaving Norway though, but instead visiting eachother’s parents!

Btw. saw Watchmen yesterday. It’s what I hoped for, though I have read the book, and knew about most of the changes.
If I hadn’t read it or known anything about it, it might have been better/worse?

I’m actually getting really excited about the idea I have, though it still seems a bit too boring. It’ll probably get better when I start writing though. For some reason I often obsess over everything in the story having to be relevant to the theme or the message I try to convey – which often make them pretentious and gay (imo), so I wanna try having more story that’s just that (a good story) and not some ambigious dumb stuff. We’ll see how it turns out!

I just cried a bunch, Dear Zachary is an amazing, gut-wrenching documentary. DO NOT READ ABOUT IT ONLINE, there’s some stuff that you really don’t want to be spoiled. But God, if you’re gonna watch it (and you better!), be prepared to shed some tears.

I had a great day yesterday. It was my birthday, and tons of people remembered (or were reminded by facebook, whatever!), I won a little poem-down we had in class (with visitors from another school) and just generally had a nice day. Also got a jacket in the mail from my mom, along with some cake

Just saw "The Descent". It was a horror movie. Here’s what it made me think:
Horrormovies, or the makers of horrormovies, seems to consistently decide to make characters unlikeable. It’s like they don’t want us to care about them being killed of.
Also, I got a hypothesis: For a horrormovie to be good, it would have to be good without the horrorelements. The characters and settings would have to be good enough to stand on its own.

I’m one of the few people who eat breakfast every day at school (it’s a kind of boarding school, so we eat together). One day when I didn’t show, the kitchen lady complained to me the day after 🙁

Went eating with my American visitor and my dad. It’s the second day of easter, so stores are closed here. The place we wanted to eat (40 minutes from where I live) was closed, so we ended up driving 20 minutes more and eat at a Pizza place. Even had dessert. I’m full.

I managed to bite a small chunk loose on the inside of my mouth (like, in the far back). I was thinking, it grows back, but could that be a valid way of loosing weigth? Biting off small chunks of skin and let it grow back? Must investigate.

I bought a tinbox with gingerbread cookies a couple of days ago, and I use this tin box to keep all of my cookies. Today I lost them all on the floor – and despite the floor supposidly being cleaned just today – they got kinda dirty. I threw away a handful of them and kept the rest. Good story.

Played soccer today for the first time in at least a year. Was way fun. The field was horribly muddy though. Then we played ‘muff’.

Also I recomended Dear Zachary to the documentary-class, and we saw it. When it was done, the teacher (in tears) said that I’ll never be allowed to pick movie again. Most of the people watching (that hadn’t seen it before) started crying. See the movie, but don’t read about it, as there is a major(!) spoiler that you’d rather not know when watching it.
